I800 approval and new Pics!

Yikes.  This has been such a slow process.  We’re doing what we can to speed it along but aren’t having much luck.  BAAS sent us forms that were out of date which caused our first set to be rejected, the lockbox was super slow to get ours sent on to USCIS and then we got Officer Blaylock who is notoriously slow.  We were approved 9 days ago and still do t have GUZ number yet, which means we can’t go to the next step yet.   If we get what we need tomorrow, and we get our RTF, which is the letter that our agency uses to be able to drop our Article 5, quickly, we may still make it to Hope in mid-March.  Chinese New Year is going to slow things up but we really, really hope to get our paperwork filed before the holiday begins!

We got pics of her with her family day cake we sent so we know that she has been told that she has a family.  At 3.5 years old, I don’t know how well she understands but at least we know she is aware.
😀 We sent her a pillow that has all of our pics on it and a little photo album so she can be prepared that we look very different from the ayi that take care of her.

I pray for her frequently, I’m always worried that something may happen to her shunt before we get there.  I’d love for y’all to join us in praying for her health and for these final steps to go quickly.
